I just received a new style gretz pitot tube. I really like it however there is what seems to be a cosmetic blemish on it. On the top of the tube near the mast portion, there is a an area about 1/4 inch, where it looks as if it has been repaired and filled with a lighter color material.

I am wondering if it is indeed a blemish, or part of the manufacturing process. Does anyone know?

It seems then that it is likely a product of the manufactering process. Thanks for letting me know Scott.
