Need to update my Engine Instruments. Looking at a Dynon EMS-D120 and Grand Rapids EIS 4000. The GR is about $1000 less cost. What will it not do that the D-120 will? Any suggestions. Thanks, Dick, E Mail [email protected]

I think you may be comparing apples to pears.

When you add the display to the GRT and the probes to the Dynon, I think you will find that they are both around $3000 or so for COMPARABLE systems.

Both make excellent a systems.

The GRT display can be upgraded to a full EFIS and moving map by adding stuff to it later. Dynon will have various upgrade paths as well.
