I have noticed an increasing negative current flow over my flights such that the only time my amp meter registers positive is with a heavy load, such as when the landing light and strobes are on. During normal flight with a normal load, I show a negative flow, sometimes up to 25 amps.

Every six months or so I upload my data to www.savvyanalysis.com and I went back and checked my data. Gradually, over time, I have seen my amp flow go from positive to negative.

What does this mean? Do I have an alternator going out?
 
IF you had a negative 25 amp flow for one hour your battery would be dead. Assuming it isn't, I'd look into the ammeter first.
