I am having a problem with the connection of the Prop Gov control cable end to the Gov control arm. Pardon the photo quality but it gets the message across. I am using the AN3-11 bolt called out and as you can see from the photo it will not go through the arm due to interference from the Gov case.
Suggestions anyone? The center to center distance on the Gov arm is 1.5 inches for the pivot point verse the mounting point.

Can you remove the governor arm, install the rod end, and reinstall the arm?

Check first to make sure there's no spring-loaded device depending upon the arm.

Looks like you've fixed your problem, but just trying to remember how I dealt with this on my 7A. Would re-clocking the control head allow you to get the bolt installed?

I had the same problem and simply turned the bolt around:

As long as it's clamped down tight and there are no threads in the hole inside the arm, I don't think the bolt will know the difference.

I turned the bolt around around just like Matt Burch did.
