Has anyone had this experience. There is no sidetone on the GMA 340 on copilot side when selecting Com1. Transmit works fine, tower can receive my transmission no problem, I can hear tower response. . When selecting Com2, everything works fine.

Com1 and Com2 are King KX 165 TSO radios.

In reviewing the GMA 340 manual there doesn't seem to be any selectable mode that would turn off the copilot sidetone.

Pilot also indicates he cannot hear his sidetone during transmissions.

I am using Stratus 50D headsets, however I have ruled them out since all works fine on Com2.

Swap the com radios and see if the problem follows. My guess is it's the radio.
