I'm looking to build an RV3 and just was wondering how does the glass panel react during acro? When inverted with synth vision does it show the terrain inverted?
 
I'm by no means knowledgeable about glass panels, but in my plane with an "older" EFIS it can take a few seconds to regain a correct orientation display after doing several loops and rolls in succession. No big problem because I only do these maneuvers when I can see the horizon.

There are no spinning gyros to cage.

Garmin G3X, rock solid in acro. Dynon D6 backup...less so.
 
AFS 4500 only topples in a tailslide - can't tell you much about inverted as I have a carb ... No 'cage' button, but it does find itself (slowly) after toppling.
 
The Dynon Skyview shows inverted flight correct. During loops it gets a little confused for a very short time. Of course the fuel level indication is not correct because the floats are "on the other end" when the tanks are near full or near empty. Here are two screenshots:
