Geoff

I'm finally getting around to installing my gear leg fairings.

My brake lines come out of the fuselage, angle down slightly to go around the gear leg U-brackets and the gear bolts, and then run down the aft sides of the gear legs. It seems like I'll need to hack off a chunk of the gear leg fairings to prevent interference with the brake lines at the top ends. Either that or remake the brake lines so they go around the U-brackets, then back up to where the gear legs intersects the fuselage, then down the aft sides of the legs.

Can someone post or provide a link to a picture of this area with the gear leg fairing installed but the intersection fairing NOT installed? I basically need to see how the brake line gets inside the gear leg fairing at the upper end.

Thanks.

Here are a couple pics, should help you out.Notice vinyl tubing spaced down brake line for anti chaffing.
