Hello all... Long time lurker here..
I've got a friend that is taking a composites class at school and wants to *try* to make something similar to the gear leg fairings used on the -7A for his semester project. Since I don't have the technical drawings readily available for the -7A, I was wondering if someone out there could post the dimensions so I can pass them along to him.
The dimensions requested are:
1. Chord length
2. Max thickness
3. Distance from leading edge to "max thickness" point
Any other dimensions that are deemed useful by other glass-layers would be great as well. He said a CAD drawing of the actual leg fairings or even just the gear leg would help out as well. I tried Van's website, but couldn't stumble into any actual technical drawings.
