I suspect it's here in front of me somewhere in one of these 500 page manuals, but I can't seem to locate the pinout for a GDL39 when used with a G3X system.

Brian is correct, Figure C-2.14 on page C-19 of the current G3X Installation Manual (rev J) is the correct one to use.

Thanks for the link Matt. I finished the GDL wiring yesterday and all seems to work well. Weather was working, didn't see any traffic yet...but it was a sunday afternoon and I was stationary....so not sure traffic would be given.

Config...config...config...holy buckets. Squawk list is small though.

I have to say, these Garmin manuals..while unbelievably HUGE...really do have just about everything in them. Sat in the seat with book in my lap and got the transponder config'd and working, GDL39 config'd and working, engine instruments, OAT, etc etc etc. Then I discovered that having it on the Ipad makes it searchable which is even better.
