Can someone point me to the section in the plans that shows installation of GDL-39R in an RV-12 that has dual screen Garmin G3X Touch panel?
The aircraft was purchased with single screen G3X Touch panel with GDL-39R installed. We thought we did not need the GDL-39R and suggested the seller remove the 39R before sending the aircraft to us.
Now thinking of installing 39R again but I can't find in my CD of plans from Van's the section dealing with where the 39R goes, and how hard it is to install.
I think the wiring will still be there, as the external antenna is still on aircraft.
