[Snowy RA]

I hadn't flown my RV4 for about 3 weeks over the Christmas period. During the daily before my first flight, the fuel from the gascolator drain was a deep blue colour. I ran the fuel pump with mixture rich and gave the throtle a few pumps and did another drain, fuel back to normal. any idea what caused the discoloration and do I have any thing to worry about.

Not sure, but if your gascolator or something upstream had a leak or open to the atmosphere it might end up with a load of concentrated blue dye.
