I need hellp, RV 3 with fuselage tank. Plumbed everything tested the lines before putting the tank in no leaks. I then installed tank in the plane tightened the fitting to tank and then leaks. Each time i fix one leak i get two more. Is it usual for the an fittings to be this touchy to leaks. If so what do i need to do differently. Thanks

Teflon based thread seal paste..

....Dusty. Hardware store variety. Always put some of it on pipe threads.

Same here

Used it for 10 years on two different aircraft and never had a leak works great

... Much preferable to teflon tape which can be hazardous to your health..especially when it causes the engine to quit.

I've used fuel lube or EZ turn for the fuel lines, also comes in tube

I've never had any leaks on my fittings while using these two.
