Hello VAF!

Does anyone know a dealer that sells the plastic face plate on a Garmin SL30? I called the number I found on the old VAF post, and the Garmin rep said it has to come a dealer. They said to reference Service Letter 1561 and ask for a RO filter.

Any thoughts out there?

Maybe someone will chime in. I am looking for the same thing. I saw something earlier this year, but I am unable to find it using an archive search. I do remember seeing where the faceplate could be had.
 
Just bought one from Stein a few months ago. Just have a picture handy if you are in doubt as to which version radio you have and they will help sort it out.
 
Looks like I'll be giving Stein a call tomorrow. Him and his team provided phenomenal support helping me understand how to wire my new panel. I can't speak highly enough about them.
