When I use Garmin Pilot (GP) to plan a flight, it does the "Required Fuel" calculation only using cruise fuel burn. It does not add anything for climb fuel. It also doesn't seem to show fuel to the alternate (so i end-up creating a temporary trip plan from my planned destination to the alternate to determine my required fuel to alternate). I have to manually add fuel for approaches/missed. Have I missed some functionality in GP that would make IFR fuel planning more complete?
