Anyone know if it is possible to filter the traffic on the Garmin Pilot App (IOS) when connected to the GDL39, currently it shows everything which can really clutter the screen near busy commercial airports. On my 796 the traffic is filtered to only show reasonably relevant info (i.e not interested in stuff at flight levels).

There is a ALTITUDE FILTER on the traffic page.
Unrestricted will get you all traffic to the upper Flight Levels.

Does it only show up when connected to the GDL39, I just checked the app and cannot find a filter under tools or menu or connext but I am not in the aircraft and connected.

It's on the Traffic page under the HOME button,upper left.
It is dimly lit because it is not connected to the GDL-39.
Menu will look like this:
Altitude Filter
Motion
Vector Duration.

See it thanks, does not show on the iphone but there is a dim settings cog on the traffic page so I suspect the same capability exists there.
