I have noticed that my transponder is not showing press alt on my trans ponder. Do I have a problem? Running AFS 3500 with transponder connected to serial #2 and EFIS programmed Icarus/alt. Just wondering before diving under the panel to check wiring.
 
What input serial port on the GTX-327 do you have the AFS altitude out connected?

There are two input serial ports on the GTX-327. The one on pin 2 is for aviation data to auto transition between STBY & ALT, while the one on pin 19 is for Altitude input. Whichever port on the AFS that you have configured for ICARUS out should be connected to GTX-327 pin 19, NOT pin 2.
 
There are also configuration parameters to enable display of altitude or a timer function (I think).

Starks made the harness for the transponder, so right now i do not know if they used pin 2 are pin 19. I will check to see. Thanks
