I noticed the garmin CDI and SL-30 have
14V dimmer voltage Hi/Lo wires, but also read in the install manual
that they have photocell dimmed lighting.

To simplify the install, can I leave the hi/lo wires unconnected and
just rely on the internal photcell for auto-dimming?

I have a Sl-30 and matching Mid Cont CDI
and a 430W and Gi106a CDI

do i need to connect any of the above to the dimmer circuit?
OR will all of them self adjust using photocell?
I assume, again, just their 14v power is all i need to connect?

someone please provide me any info
THANK SO MUCH FOR ALL YOUR HELP THIS BOARD IS GREAT!

You'll need to connect both CDIs to the dimmer circuit (note that the CDI dimmers must be wired for 14 or 28 volt dimming sources), the SL-30 is photocell only, and the GNS-430 can be run on automatic dimming so the external dimmer input is not absolutely required.
