Does anyone know how to adjust the position of the azimuth card on a Garmin GI 106A CDI. It's similar to (maybe the same as) a Mid Continent MD200. I could not find anything in the manuals.

Thanks for the help.

What NAV?

The azimuth card on the CDI is not user adjustable. In fact, unless the unit has been dissasembled, it shouldn't be out of alignment at all. Now, if you are hooking the unit to a GNS430/530, you need to get into the GNS setup (turn the unit on while keeping the enter button pressed) and scroll until you find a field that says "CALIBRATE TO 150 DEGREES", then you select the indicator to 150 degrees and press enter on the selected field on the GNS 430 and presto!

Hope this helps. If not, let us know what nav source you have.

Worked as advertised

BINGO - With the CDI at 150 deg, the 430 was showing 145 deg on the configuration page. Pressed the button. All done. I checked other headings on the CDI, it was within 2 deg.

Many thanks for the help.
