Garmin G3X
Garmin GI-206 AOA
Garmin GTR-200

I was looking at the installation manual and was wondering if the audio from the GI-206 AOA fed thru the G3X system to the GTR-200 via the audio out on the G3X or would need to be connected to the to the GTR-200 com separate from the G3X with it own audio wires. From the manual it appears you need to run both audio feeds to the GTR200. Can anyone confirm this?

I do not have the audio lines from the GI-206 connected to anything.

I still get AOA tones from the G3X system which is what is hooked up to my audio panel.

Based on this, I would say they are optional....
