I'm not sure if this is a GPS question, XM question, or computer-geek USB question. Is there any way to extend the length of the GXM30 antenna cable to say 20 or 30 feet? Needless to say, this is not for an RV installation. I already know what my friends at Garmin will say, but I'm curious to know what the real world has to say about it.

I'm having trouble finding ANY mini-USB cable longer than 4 foot. Does a longer cable even exist? Know where to get one? Anyone know what happens to the signal at such a length? If anyone has experience with something like this, I'd apprecaite some insight. Thanks.

16' max

Max length for a USB cable is 16'. If the antenna requires less than 5v of power the cable can be longer (use an extension).
