I just had the elevator and HS painted and I was concerned about the gap between the two out at the tip. My instructions are at home and not with me. Does anybody know the minimum gap between the HS tip and the elevator tip? I would imagine that most of the planes have a minimum gap measurement. Help from anybody ASAP would be appreciated!

Minimum 1/8" between front of elevator balance arm and HS tip fairing.

Todd,
The go-fast guys have as little as 1/16" since the elevator bearings don't allow any sideways movement, interference is not gonna happen, although most use 1/8".

Thanks for the comments. I only have a 1/16" in the front and I don't think that's enough.
