I know the Garmin guys are busy with their outage so I’ll throw this out here to see what it might be. Look at the photo below- on my map page with weather displayed, I get these purple splotches, sometimes it covers the entire screen. If I toggle weather off, it all goes away. What is this? Sorry for it being sideways, I haven’t figured out how to fix this with the new system...
