How do I remove the 'Push to Ident' button from the TXPD Data Bar?

I want the data bar to look like in the picture attached (without the IDENT BUTTON) to save space for one more Data Bar item.

The txpd in the system is a GTX 35R

Do you suggest to touch the Ident Button to replace it with a new Data Bar Field?
This is the procedure described at page 42 in the G3X Touch Pilot's Guide:

Changing the information shown in the Data Bar fields:
1) Press the MENU Key twice.
2) Touch Setup > Data Bar > Data Fields.
3) Touch one of the Data Bar fields.
4) Touch a new data field from the list.
