Hi All,
I am having a problem with a couple engine sensor indications...

This is an IO-360 that has just had it's initial engine start....

With engine off, I am getting the following
Fuel pressure 4.4 psi
Oil Pressure 10 psi

My fuel pressure indication appears to be wrong also?
I am getting 39psi of fuel pressure at 1500rpm
(Mahlon at Mattituck tells me I should be seeing 18-25 psi at 1500 rpm.)

I can?t find that these sensors can be calibrated in the G3x...

Has anyone experienced this?

Thanks
Rich

Do a very careful ground check. This issue is can be a symptom of a missing or defective ground for the pressure transducers. Since those are very high end pressure transducers, the ground reference is important. A quick check you could do is make yourself a jumper wire and short the sensor ground pin itself to the engine case and/or airframe ground. If it starts working, then that's your problem! We've seen this more than once....

What did the dealer you purchased it from say? Did you do the wiring yourself or did you utilize a pre-made harness?

Cheers,
Stein

Make sure you didn't use the Manifold Pressure Sensor in place of the Fuel Pressure Sensor. Don't ask me how I know!

Thanks for the Replies!
Looks like it was my Bad... I had the system configured for UMA sensors!
Changed to Kavlico and problem solved.
Should have checked that first.

Thanks Again!
