I'm putting my shopping list together for FWF supplies such as Adel clamps and zip ties...it looks like I will need -12 and -14 Adel clamps and heat resistant zip ties and/or lacing cord...perhaps a roll or two of the silicone self-fusing tape? What else?

Any idea on how many Adel clamps of each size to buy? I haven't got a clue how many I'd need.

I usually buy a 10-pack of every size Adel clamp from one of the Fly-Market vendors at Oshkosh each year. I always end up needing more - and those are years when I am not building anything! They seem to evaporate into thin air, along with clecos. There might be something unique about Airpark air that makes stock parts evaporate like that....

To find the number of Adel clamps you will need, follow this formula:

Number of Adel clamps needed = the number of Adel clamps on hand + 1.

Extra all metal lock nuts

An extra dozen or so all metal lock nuts for AN3 bolts and #8 & 10 screws. These coupled with your Adel clamps come in handy as you decide on various wire/cable routings. Stat away from nylocs firewall fwd.

Thanks Andy! I ended up ordering about the same number of the same Adel clamps so that will get me started. I'm going to add the metal lock nuts mentioned by in an earlier post. Very much appreciated!
