I got my first glance at some RV-12 avionics kit pictures. This is great stuff. I just wish I had something available like this for my own kit. I seem to have a real mental block when it comes to starting any of the avionics planning. Just too many components and variables spinning around in my head and am unable to make any progress.
Here are some questions about the kit:
1. Who made the fuse/switch panel for the 12?
2. I wonder if any other parts of the 12 avionics kit, might be transferrable to other kits? There are various brackets and such even with built-in wire holders, which is a very nice touch.
3. I very much like how the panel is split and modularized. Thus, there is a section for the switch panel, EFIS, and communications stack so far. All the other kits get a single piece of aluminum for the panel. I would definitely like to mimic the same panel modularization somehow.
