Has anyone has found or fabricated an economic alternative to the Avgas Fuel Mat that ACS sells. I would like something to keep the fuel cap from rolling around and generally protect the paint from an errant fuel nozzle.

The $170 price just seems too high for a rubber mat with a hole in it.

A Rubbermaid shower mat trimmed to fit should work.
