Does anyone have the curve for capacitance versus fuel quantity for the RV-9 fuel tank?
It should not be too hard to build a converter to go from capacitance to voltage (0 to 5 VDC). Put in some filtering to average out fluctuations that could cause erroneous readings. Any average quality capacitance meter used with a known quantity of fuel in the tank can get the curve. If I had a completed 9 I could get the curve, but since I am building my tanks are not ready to fill yet. A couple of ICs built into a clean circuit card assembly should work well and should not cost $100. I am going to look at this solution. Fill you guys in with what I find.
