L larrym Member Apr 26, 2009 #2 fuel sender Yes, I have tapped gently. No I have not swapped gauges. I have never heard of a failure. I will swap them and see.Thanks

Sticky1 Well Known Member Apr 27, 2009 #4 you could also use you DVM (digital volt meter) to check out the sender depending on resistive or cap sender....
