I am installing a new engine with a new fuel pump and the drain port as you know is very close to the firewall. Anybody have any good solutions for the clearance issue. Vans sells a piece but they have been on backorder for quite some time and I am ready to install the engine.

A couple of taps with a ball peen hammer on the fire wall worked for me?

Fuel pump drain

Hi Steve

This is what Aero Sport Power did for me. Its a drill and tap and they put a threaded plug in for the old outlet. Clears the firewall "step" with oodles of room!
