Does anyone have a suggestion for best way to tighten down the nut that connects to the IE 411AB transducer? I can’t find a place to anchor a wrench that will offset the tightening pressure on the nut as I attach the wire connector. These units are prone to failure (the one shown will be my third in 900 hours) and I don’t want to put any pressure on the internal components. My guess is to just snug it down gently.

Double nut or cut a screwdriver slot in the end with a Dremel tool, both work well.

Thanks Don. I like the double nut approach since I have the old unit and can use that nut as well.
