I have a SW 385B-F Fuel Level Sender (The one that comes with the RV-7 kit). It says that when the range should be 260-32 Ohms but mine reads 247-30 Ohms. Is that still within acceptable tolerances? The other sender reads almost exactly the spec'ed range... just wondering if it makes any difference at all.

What instrument will you be using those senders with?

Our FL-2RA instrument can operate between 90 and 270 Ohms.
You can "map" up to nine calibration points along this scale, and assign "slosh" filters. I am unsure how other quantity guages operate.

That's about as good as it gets... Remember, fuel gages give you an idea of how much fuel you have and sometimes a good feeling... but time and burn rate don't lie. IMHO
