Can anyone tell me why my left fuel level reading goes to zero when the left landing light is turned on? It's wired through an EIS and my GRT horizon. The left light is a HID where as the right is your typical 50w setup. I'm thinking possibly my landing light ground needs a run through the wing rather then mounting it at the rib. No issues with the right side.

Dumb thought? If the ldg light power shorts to ground could that raise the potential of the wing towards 12V enough to dork up the sender grounding?

I'm thinking something along those lines. The fuel level doesn't come back by turning the light off though. In the process of checking everything some how it would come back on it's own. As soon as that light goes on it drops.
