Hi everyone
Up for sale is a Garmin Nav/Com set from my Aerostar.
This includes a Garmin SL-30 radio, p/n 430-6040-303, through mod AE with the latest firmware. The bezel is very clean and new looking, less than 200 flying hours on this unit.

Also included is a Mid Continent MD200-306 VOR/LOC & Glideslope indicator, this has the desirable rectilinear movement (
;)
) and the NAV/GPS/BC annunciations right in the unit.

And this set has the very rare DB30 DME/RMI/ARINC interface adapter box for DME channeling from the SL30. Use it with a King KN-63 DME remote transceiver, or other King or S-Tec/Collins DMEs. Most people don't know this but the SL30 can display DME distance, speed and time on its own display so you would not need a KDI-572 or similar stand-alone display. If you are really interested I can send the DB-30 installation manual which is full of answers!

If you fly your RV in serious IFR you really should have a DME, it opens up a massive number of ILS approaches when GPS is down. Otherwise you are stuck going to an MON airport with scores of other unprepared IFR pilots! See the IFR MON scenario and airport/approach listings for more info on line here: https://www.flyingmag.com/flying-the-mon/

Tray and all connectors included as well.

$3499 for the whole package, shipped to CONUS addresses. Zelle or check OK, please no Paypal or Venmo, thanks.

Dues paid!

Would you separate the DB30?
