I am working on my panel design, and trying to figure out which is the right panel cutout for GMA245 audio panel adn GNC225a
Please see below from GNC installation manual:

There are two options. Installing the rack from front or from back.
never installed any avionic's device.
Can someone help me understand if usually the install is front or back?
should I use the smaller dimensions or larger?
