The fresh air vents appear they should have a knob or lever or something on them, but nothing in the plans I can find. Do you just tighten them up and let friction keep them in position?

They don't need a lever but you can use the RV-10 knobs.

I stuck two round velcro pieces on top and bottom to give a better grip when opening and closing.

Don from TX, that's the way they work-friction. The problem I have with them is when flying alone my arms not long enough to reach the passenger side to change the position. While you can push it open with your foot there is no closing or reducing opening the same way. Thinking about rigging cable, but it looks messy. I would just go by plans Don. You can improve it later. Anyone out there rig something yet?
