Frank1 and his wife Marcie are now homeward bound to Corvallis from SGU. It was great to have them and their good friends here in our desert community. They had a chance to see a lot of great sights, experience the interesting spring weather, and show off their great RV7A. Just before they boarded the plane we all commented on how these wonderful RV airplanes shrink our world. I would also add that the airplane also bring new sights, sounds, and wonderful new friends our way. I want to thank Frank and Marcie for allowing me the opportunity to see their plane and enjoy the stories of their eventful traveling experiences. I have included a couple of pictures for all to enjoy.

Wow what a trip

We climb in da plane in Southern Utah...beautiful sunshine, and hardly a tree in sight.

Five hours later the weather is awful and there is nothing but trees....

Its official its a stinking time machine!

Economy cruise of 160kts at 7GPH..not half bad.

My favourite ATC quote "well that didn't take long"..Said by surprised controller after he cleared me to 12k from 8k and we did a lazy LOP climb at about 1100fpm...:)

Thanks to Frank #2 for his oustanding hospitality, I didn't actually need any parts from his 7a project but I'm sure he would have handed them over without a second thought.

Frank, Dinner is on us when you fly up this way!

Cheers
