I need to make a complex shaped lense for my landing light.

How do you form plexiglas? What thickness and type plexiglas do I use?

in school we made a mold/plug usually from wood then placed a piece of plexi over it and put it in an oven. dont remember the temp. watched it through the window and when it conformed we took it out. some put inconel wire in a trough (sp) and heat the plexi where they want to shape it. the oven method worked mutch better.. good luck
