I finished assembling of my tie down brackets last night. I have everything riveted together and bolted to the spar. Then I realized in bed that I forgot to drill the lightening holes in the spacers! Do you guys think this is a big problem? Or should I pull everything apart, drill out the rivets, drill out the holes and put it back together?

Absolutely not!

It would be a real shame to pull that whole Assembly apart just for a couple of lightening holes. The rivets you drill out would never be as good the second time around. You'll never notice the extra 1/4 ounce of weight.

Just my opinion.

Leave them alone. Only you will know you are that 1/4 ounce heavier than the next guy.
