Too funny! Late last night I rounded out two of those screws myself. Brought one of them into the office this morning to search for replacements online. I like the idea of going to a deeper socket head. With the interference threads of the nutplates, these little Skyview screws don't have a chance. Shoulda run a tap thru them first, but was in too much of a hurry to assemble and admire.
 
We made the same switch when we did our installation in December. Dynon should change to the deeper, more robust screws. Since they monitor these threads...
 
I was able to find these at the local fastenal store ... took a little searching in the bins to find an open bag so they could sell individual screws. i think i purchased 15 for $2.00
