The heavy wing issue has pretty much been solved, 17 hours into Phase I testing, so now I'm ready to start adding wheel pants.

Question: Is there any reason why I SHOULDN'T do this in stages to adequately assess the impact on flying qualities?

For instance, I thought I'd add the nosewheel fairing tonight and take it up and see if there are any adverse effects.

Then I would add the two wheelpants for the main gear leg fairing, and -- again -- take it up and be sure the ball is still centered.

I'd add the gear leg fairings but I still haven't drilled/fitted the Cleveland intersection fairings on both and I don't have the second-person help at my home-away-from-KSGS to install nutplates where I guess they need to be installed. So I probably wouldn't add the gear leg fairings until I get the bird back to her home base after Phase I testing.
