I'm curious about what sort of "official" flight testing may be required after an extensive avionics upgrade. I have installed a full G3X Touch based system in a flying aircraft, replacing a Dynon D100, Skyview servos, and a 3-pack of backup steam gauges. Almost the entire electrical system is new: Plane Power alternator, VP-X Pro, new wiring and switches - and maybe a new Earth-X battery to replace the Concorde after Oshkosh.... Anyway, I know that the pitot-static system should be checked, and a new transponder cert done since I regularly fly in controlled airspace. But is anything else required? I plan to do a series of flight tests to check basic avionics functionality, and I'll need to calibrate the AOA system....

Thanks in advance for constructive input.

I think you're on the right track. Nothing structural being changed, just a logbook entry, new W&B and the transponder cert (pitot/static too if IFR is desired).
