I've decided to have a client stop by Friday morning with a 22' flatbed wrecker to haul Black Magic back to the airport. Since the emp is on the airplane I'm thinking it has to go prop first on the bed. On a 7, where have people attached the winch, to load and unload the airplane.....any pics out there?

Thanks,

This worked

for a 17 mile trip. Winch was attached to the top of the legs with a set of tie down ropes.

Have fun and good luck.

Here's a bunch of pictures for you. Move was uneventful. I went prop first as well. Good luck with the move. Link

Thanks Bill. I've been up since 3 this morning doing tax returns as my client arrives at 10AM to haul her back to the airport. I'll show him your pics, thanks again.

BTW, what color is that I see on those wings??

The bottoms are Gloss Black, tops are polished alum.

If the prop is on Black Magic, you might want to secure it so it is horizontal. The wind turned mine vertical, and although it cleared overpasses and the toll booth with no problem, I still worried about it.

Good luck with the move!
