How did you determine the flaps up position. I used a straight edge and aligned the flaps with the conture of the wing aft of the main spar. Is that OK or did I miss a better / correct way of doing it?
For the 7 and even though different wing its probably the same method. Align aileron outer rib tooling holes to tooling holes in wing tip ribs. Once aileron is set appropriately at center in trail, then align flaps to it. This is assuming your incidence is set so it doesn't stop you short.
For the 6 there was a full-size airfoil drawn on the wing crate that you could cut out and use for a template. I'm not sure if that continued for the other models or not.
