I'm building the flaps and the flap hinge is much longer than the flap leading edge. I'm building out of order but I haven't seen anything about what size they should be cut to. Should I cut them flush with the flap, or leave a few extra inches on both sides and trim later on?

Flap Hinge

I'm doing the same thing. Flaps before wing. If you look closely at the plan view on the drawings, the flap hinge is shown. I terminated the hinge as shown on the drawing. As they say, so far so good.
