According to VANs, ProSeal can be measured out by weight or by volume. I'm using Flamemaster C-3204 measuring out by volume, but now I see the directions say to measure out by weight. Anyone have any thoughts on this? My mixture appears to be fully cured.

Thanks,

Tom

I measured pretty carefully by weight (digital gram scale), but noticed earlier this evening that I have quite a bit of sealer left, but am about out of hardener. Is this normal?

My scale

measures grams and oz, but didn't seem sensitive enough to measure out the small quantities I wanted to use. I used a syringe to measure by volume.

Hear from FlameMaster today

They said measuring by volume was OK, just a little wasteful of the catalyst. The correct ratio for measuring by volume is 10:0.83

That is what I get for not reading more. I was using 10 to 1 ratio, which accounts for the shortfall of catalyst.
