 Need some advise . . . bucking bar slipped when doing some hard to reach rivieting in skin - result was a ding - from the inside of fuselage pushed out. I tried to carefully 'buck' it out and it seemed to look pretty good. Problem is I must have slightly stretched the sheetmetal - now it 'tin-cans' or has the ability to 'pop' in and out. I'm thinking of riveting a doubler plate or some kind of angle on the inside in an effort to make this area firmer and not allow it to 'pop'. Am I being clear as to my dilemma? Would this techique for correcting this issue a) be acceptable and b) actually work?
Thanks!1

Size . . .

The blemish is about 2" max - however the total area affected (the total area that pops!) is about 4" square.
