Way to go! You'll have many more "firsts" along the way - some good - some not so much.
I'm just nearing the completion of my "first" kit section - The Empennage. I'm enjoying the build but I really am looking forward to the "first" flight.
I remember thinking it's remarkable how such a small thing can cause such an overwhelming sense of accomplishment! Exhilirating. Many more to come, you're well on your way!
Thanks for nice words. My wife just told me this weekend she wants to buy me one of the kits for christmas. She has even come to the garage twice to help! I think this is getting better!!
