My RV-9A became an airplane today over Abilene, Texas after 7 years and 2 months of building. My transition training in the the RV-10 with Alex DeDominicis really got me ready. I received my airworthiness certificate 6 days ago with Mel Asberry whom I highly recommend. Other than a malfunctioning tachometer, the flight was flawless. This is one nice airplane to fly. The landing was so smooth I wasn't sure I was on the ground until the nosewheel came down.

Let the fun begin.

Congratulations Steve!

Posts like yours give me an injection of motivation! Let's burn some LL we are lucky having it.

Awsome, Steve!

I'm sure that I will work with more determination as I listen to you on the radio in my "hangar/shop".

Good going & happy flying.

Attaboy Steve,

Now contact Vans and let them know so the 9/9A hobbs meter can tick up another digit.
