N576RV took to the sky Sunday for a quick 20 min flight, and I am still alive to tell about it. Have a high cylinder head temp problem but over all the plane performs well. I am either running lean or do not have enough air flow dont know which and might be looking for some help :) Lots of smiles

Thanks for your support.

Congratulations, John!

There is a lot of talent on the forums, but they will need some data/numbers regarding the engine/temps/etc.

Fly safely,

Congrats, but I second the motion on more details. Tell us in as many words as possible how great it is to defy gravity in a machine you crafted with your own hands. Or at least tell us which model you built. :)

Way to go John. This is an exciting moment.

I was battling the same gremlins. Being new to this I learned that ANY little disruption or opening will cause temperature problems. I went through and checked everything and after sealing a few very small openings my temps were much better. I was amazed at how a little hole can have such an affect.

This is a great time to be dealing with temperature issues.

Keep at it!!!
